Course Objective

Based on preliminary lectures of logistics and supply chain management the objective of the course is to give the students some first insights into innovative technologies particularly auto-id technologies that are presently applied in the logistics sector. Thereby emphasis will be put on technologies that companies already have in place and that are established in supporting logistics processes. Furthermore, future technologies that currently arouse companies attention will be addressed.

Within the course the students will be enabled to evaluate the different technologies from a technological and economical point of view.

Formal requirements: Enrolled students in the Faculty of Business and Social Sciences of the RheinAhrCampus for the B.A. Programme in Business Administration.
