Kursübersicht "Specific Aspects of Supply Chain Management (L A 02)"Instructor: Mr. Simon Braun Course ObjectiveBased on preliminary lectures of logistics and supply chain management the objective of the course is to extend insights of supply chain processes and deepen understandings of fundamental concepts that are idiosyncratic to supply chains. Within the course the students will be enabled to develop, evaluate and apply specific models in supply chains whereby the emphasis will be on topics relating to inventory management, network and transportation design. Course Content:
Teaching MethodLecture, discussion, practices, case studies. Some course materials will be made available upfront on mystudy. The students are encouraged to make themselves familiar with the materials in order to be prepared for in-class discussions. Due to several practices with MS-Excel spreadsheets during the course it is recommended to bring a notebook. Prerequisites:
